HELP!!! OEM power door lock to 92 S.
So, I bought 2 switches, 1 control unit, and 2 both driv. & pass. sides wire harnesses.
NOTE: the wire harnesses are from 94 VTEC, which is slightly diff. from 92 as the power mirror switch on 94 is not located at driver side door panel.
At the end of each door wire harness, there are 2 connectors that go into the dash. My previous one has only 1 connector coz no pwr door lock.
Ok, so I replaced both door wire harnesses and installed both switches, and control unit into mine.
However, here are the problems I am facing now.
1. Since there are 2 connectors at the end of door wire harness. And, the dash wire harness on mine has ONLY 1 connector corresponds to it. So, should I replace the dash wire harness too or it is just a simple electric that I can just add them myself? if so, how?
2. As I mentioned above, the power MIRROR switch on 92-93 is located at driver side door panel. but the 94 + is at center console. And since I got those wire harnesses from 94 VTEC so can I still use it on my 92?
Please help, I have been trying to finish this for over 1 month. I don't wanna install alarm coz it is too annoying.
