Help on new radiator

Seems that my stock radiator has a teeny tinny leak in the bottom tank, so it is time to get a new one. I was just wondering if any of y'all could help me find some good prices or any suggestions.

Thanks

there was a super cheap koyo radiator thing for manual 4th gen's...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

i heard that these might actually not be a striaght install... someone said they had to actually dremel something down... i have one but have not tried the install yet... but these are pretty cheap i thought

I've got one and you will def have some fitment issues. You will have to cut/dremel most of the plug and remove one of the Fans. You can probably get a lower profile fan to replace it, but I just left it out to see if I needed it and I have not run into any problems yet. I even tracked it at NPM with no problems. So, I dunno if I would recommend it, but it does add some shine to the engine bay.

I have a Koyo for my 4th gen VTEC and it also took quite a bit of altering.

Since the radiator is wider a few items do need to be modified. I still have a/c so that required more time and some more mods. The passenger fan shroud and blades, plus the front subframe connector. The fan shroud and blades need clearance around the engine mount and the subframe clerance so you can get to the fan bolts and drain plug.

Allow a few hours if you are doing this yourself and alone.

I got a koyo for my prelude and it dropped right in. I even used factory fans. If I was not half way around the world I would take a picture for you all. Yes it is a TIGHT fit with factory fans. Yes I did have to dermal down my cap, but I think that was more of an issue with my cap and not fitment. The only modifying I did was I did not use the bottom rubber supports. Although it fits pretty snug so I am not to worries about it rattling around.

I have done some research and think you can use FAL dual fans for an Integra with little modifying. Maybe I will try when I get back home. Those fans run 300$ though.

here is where i posted about mine before...Click Me Click Me

^^Are you sure that your AC fan is still spinning, because I could get the fan in after cutting one of the feet, but it would hit the motor mount if it tried to spin and there was no possible way to avoid that. Mine was for the H22 and thats what I have, do you have an Si or S maybe its easier to get that thing in on those. Oh and with out that fan in there my AC still works fine, I think the extra cooling that the alumium provides counter acts the need for that fan. Plus that fact that its like 5 times as thick coundn't hurt

This one seems to have plastic end-tanks... I thought Koyo's were all aluminum.

Also, has anyone bought a radiator from Radiator Express? How are the quality of there 1-row alum. radiators?

I think I will be going through radiatorexpress.com for mine... when you guys bought yours did you get the stock replacement (plastic endtanks) or the upgrade replacement (all metal)? Im thinking it would be better to get the all metal version for the extra $20... comments?

BTW... thanks for all the help guys.

I bought a Koyo radiator from www.importrp.com (a po.com seller btw, PM Mike95lude for details) I think it was around 200, it has the plastic top and bottom, but it still looks really nice and I had no problems with fitment. Actually it seems to fit better than the stock one I had, the old one was kinda wobbly, and this one is in there solid.

yea i am sure. the only problem that i have is when it shuts off. it comes in contact with something. it only does it when it is spinning down. not spinning up or spinning at full speed. i am not to worried about it. for now.
