Help needed!! Any info can HELP. h22a prelude

Hey everyone my prelude
1994
h22a swap
usdm ecu (dont have jdm)

is redlining at 6500. like it cuts off at 6500 when its suppose to be 7500. i dont know what to do with it.
No CEL
everything runs GREAT, SMOOTH no lag, no bog, no idle.
Vtec is on and off and like i said it cuts off at 6500. as soon as it hit 6500 than it cuts off fuel or something and wont go pass it.
anything would help
and greatly appreciate it

Im assuming it wasnt doing this before the swap? When you did your swap, what did you keep from the usdm motor. I can tell you its a rev limiter issue. Do you have an Auto or a Manual? To my knowledge we cant really change what its set to* Is your a obo 1 or obo2. Sounds like its probably in limp mode. Try discounting the battery for 15-30 mins. Mine did this to me twice, but was hanging up at 4k. Als

its a manual.
after i swap the motor in it didnt do this. it did this after 5-6 months.
also i thought it might be in limp mode but what i have reading about limp mode is that the car will run really crappy and its rev limiter would be at 3000.
my car runs really good its just that 6500 is its limit.
i also read from alot of forum sites stating that when its in limp mode it wouldnt be mistakeable because it will run like crap. and mine runs good

i kept everything from the usdm motor.
i just use the jdm motor and the jdm intake manifold

3 main things cause VTEC not to work without a CEL, low oil, low oil pressure or engine is either not at or not reaching operating temp.
