help needed!

the lude has been actiing strange lately. At one point i would start the car and it would immediately shut right off, but would start up again no problem. it did that maybe like 3 times then it stopped. then another day i went to start it up, no power or anything. so i waited a few minutes then it ran fine. then about a week later i was leaving work with a buddy and we stopped somewhere and the head unit just kept powering and off a few times then it was fine. we made a stop and not thinking at the moment i turned the car off and it was dead, so i had to pop start it then the rest of the weekend it was fine. the following weekend i was driving down the road and the alternator light just started flickering on and off, but it didn't seem to be losing power though. then the next day i just let it idle for a good 20 minutes and no light came on, but as soon as i started driving the light flickered. a couple days later i tried again to see if there was just an error or something. started driving the light started flickering and my lights were dimming on and off, but the motor seemed to be running strong. the alternator is putting suffient volts to the battery, and the belt is brand new (i did have to change twice within a month) but now i have no idea. could it be the alternator and/or battery?

Sounds like a dead battery. Most auto parts places check them for free. Have it tested before replacing it.

Check battery and then check your alternator.
