not a problem really but the whole center area in my 92 went out. At night with my lights on and everything all my heat/AC controls are dark as hell except the lights behind the buttons for defrost/vent and so on but I can't see what button I am pressing, I have no idea why they went out. Also my Brake lamp light came on a few days ago then went out yesterday but there was never anything I noticed wrong with the brake lights.

I have had the lights behind the buttons go out. They are these really small bulbs that are a bish to get to. I just replaced the bulb and it was straight. I am also having the same problem with my brake light. Sometimes my brake light would work and sometimes it wouldn't (without doing anything with the bulb). Right before i put the lude in storage, even though i replaced the bulb with a couple different bulbs, but none of them work. My brake light is still out.

well that is the weird thing, I went out tonight and the control lights worked fine, for about 20 minutes then they turned off. Also about the brake light thing, the brakes lights, signals, reverse lights all worked fine when the light was on for. I am thinking it was something with the brake lamp dash light itself.

my brake light worked sometimes when the light was on in the dash. Once it turns on when the bulb comes out the light wont reset until you turn off the key again. While my friend was driving behind me he said it would work sometimes, but the brake light would be on in the car the whole time.
