ok heres the thing my clear lense, front bumper fell off. Not the one on the side but the one right below the head light in the middle. now i realize why its because there is a small metal bracket that the screw goes into when you screw it in (as i found out from looking at the sister lense on the other side of the car) which the side that it fell off doesn't have. I tried to put my stock orange one in and it wouldnt sttay like the other one so basically i need one of these small metal bracket thingys to screw my lens into anyone have any or have a subsitite or something cause my lense won't stay thanks
tom
i'll pay ya a couple bux for one (like people who have front kits or extra front bumpers that have this small metal thing)
Could you maybe use double-sided foam sticky tape? I use this stuff to hold my dry cell battery down, and it works fine. It's also holding my ignition coil down, b/c I didn't want to screw into the metal.
Give it a whirl.

I would not suggest that, you can get those little clips from any local pep boys ,or kragen auto parts there very cheap. Just take one off of the other side and they will match it up. The technical term for it is a cage nut. You do need it, your light will not stay in without it. They are too cheap and easy to get not to get them.

slp mode -- thanx a bunch... didn't know what it was called or if it was a prelude specific part, and i leared the hard way that my light will stay in with out it ("where'd my light go??")
glad I could help bro, Yeah all kinds of makes and models use those clips. Hope it works out for ya. I am surprised that you did lose your light though, because even if you lost that clip or something the wire harness that your light plugs into should of at least kept it from falling off completely, of course you would of looked a little funny driving aroung with a light just hangin and bouncing around, but at least it would of been there.

just go to any car part store or honda dealer, go to www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and print the diagram out and show to the dealer, that's what i did 2 weeks ago, i was looking for exactly the same part you're looking
