Help me figure out what to do with my 3 ludes

Hehe. Would you believe I own *3* Honda Preludes right now? a 1986 (rear brake seized, gonna fix) and then my 1993 Prelude Si .. and then this bad boy

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2917966338

Yeah I lost the auction but the dude flaked out so I asked for dibs and got it, picking it up this weekend or the next.

So as you can see from the auction, it's a 4WS 92 or 93 Prelude missing an engine.

So here are my options:

Option A
Drop the h23 in my car into the white prelude and convert all my mods over to the white lude. Then either part out my silver lude or store it for some h22 action later maybe

PROS:
- 4 wheel steering
- my car has been in an accident so there is windnoise coming from the pass. door. (pisses me off) wont have that problem now.
- the pass side power window motor on my current lude has trouble sometimes going up, not sure if its the motor or the accident
- REAR Windshield wiper
- CLIMATE CONTROL (maybe not sure if it has it)
- right hand drive (good for england)
- ever since I hit that curb in alaska, it pulls to the right SLIGHTLY, but enough to piss me off sometimes

CONS:
- gotta repaint the bodykit white (but the kit has to get fiberglass repaired anyway)
- engine swap/changeover of parts = downtime, lots of it.
- alarm. this is the big thing, I dropped some ca$h on that Compustar alarm and I think moving it over will really be a *****, I'm not skilled in that and neither is anyone i know here.
- needs rust repair on rear of car
- windows will need to be re-tinted (or at least the rear windshield)

Option B
Take parts off the white lude to make my silver lude better then sell the rest of the part out the white lude

PROS:
- keep the compustar alarm
- finally, a totally black interior. except the dashboad due to RHD
-

CONS:
- will still have that damn windnoise
- new motor might not fix the passenger window
- refer to all the Pros of option A and it'd be a CON here

ehhhh... I'm tired of typing...to much work. please gimme all your inputs, thanks!

In the end all 3 of these cars will be sold and I will have my Skyline but thats about 1.5 years down the road

edit: an h22 now is not an option cant afford it.

Some food for thought...... Getting the white one back into the states when your tour is over could be problems. What about putting the 4WS equipment on your silver Lude? I would be decently sure the bodies are the same and bolt holes and such would be on it. Engine swap is time consuming, electrical could be a major bit ch.

i would wait till you get the white one before you make decisions. if its in good condition, swap motor into it. keep silver one around for when u get dough for the h22. sell the 3g to finance the 3g.

ps. i could get you a black dash if you want. plenty at junkyards. not sure how much shipping would be to england though.

Why'd you buy another lude if you want to buy a skyline later on?

I'd sell the 3rd gen and silver lude.

I need a daily driver. 5 days a week, at least 30 miles a day. And no Jape dont drive beaterz. So to afford a skyline it is obvious I will have to sell all my cars, and have cash in bank. That would mean the skyline is my only car. I will be commuting to work for the next 2 years here in England. I dont wanna be driving a skyline to and from work like that, this car is gonna be like wreckdiver's lude... It's never gonna know what rain is.

So what i plan on doing is 6 months before I leave here, have enough saved up to buy that skyline (probably an r34 by then instead of an r33 now) and then spend time converting it to us specs and then shipping that monster back to the US or Germany/Italy depending on where I go next.

jape, i thought that if you had the car (skyline) for more than two years that they would ship it for you. i was under the impression if you had it for less than that, you would have to pay the shipping. am i getting confused with something else?

maybe if you went overseas without a car. maybe thats what i am thinking of.

i say to swap in your h23 from your silver one into the white one, strip it and build a turbo h23 drag car. and keep yours and swap in a h22 and make it a all motor or nitrous daily driver.

ok, i say sell them all and get a scooter... cuz we all no scooters are better than skylines... what kind of name is that neway. on a serious note, i say sell either sell silver and 3rd gen and throw in h22 in white, or sell white and 3rd gen and keep your silver since you could save some money (cuz it runs and looks nice and only few problems... plus you already now things about it) and then use all that money to get skyline here and you know... pimp/give to me! ok... thats my 2... how u say- cents
