Help me decide how much my car is worth.

Ok. most of you have seen my car. My car is for sale, but I am in no hurry to sell it. Its a 93 vtec with 77k miles on it, MINT CONDITION. New paint on 1 side of hte car, the hood, and new front bumper. 1 month old CF hood, JDM headlights, AEM CAI, DC headers, high flow cat. I have all maint. records, there is nothing wrong with the car mechanically.

heres why I ask.

KBB is 10k. I have a flyer on my car that says 11k. I thought this was good enough, but my dad talked to our honda mechanic today, who is also a friend of the family. He thought 11k was too low, and said that it was the cleanest 4th gen in the city.. basically said that 11k was giving it away. I guess I have about 4k put into it, so now im having a hard time deciding what a good price is. 12k? 12.5k?? Especially now that the import scene is growing. I know your going to say "Just put it at a high price and see what offers you get" but I want your opinion on what you think it is worth. thanks!

Best 4G in the city, huh?

I agree

I looked up my car and it was only 8700 . I say try it for 12,500. Worse thing that could happen is you get talked down to 11k (remember how much you got it for ) If it doesn't get sold after a couple months, lower it. It can't hurt anything. If you set it at 11, people will try to talk ou down to 9/

I just saw an 1993 RX-7 up the street from my house, with an aftermarket wing, in perfect condition for sale. hmmm....

As far as what you put into it, it will be hard to get people to pay for those on top of the price of the car.

Good Luck.

I say sell the parts seperatly and the car in stock form. You will get more interest in it (the age limit goes from like 16-20 to 16-50).

Good luck.

Thanks man.

So what are you getting now? RWD RWD RWD

You post ads anywhere yet? I've been pondering posting at an extremely high amount, to see what I can get. If I can't sell it, no big deal. I'll probably get in trouble with my next car anyway.
