Help on map sensor probs on motor swap.

Ok my friend has a 96 prelude and he had the sohc motor. so he pulled the motor and got a 92 h23 dohc. and converted the car to obd1 with a harness and is now using the obd1 ecu. the problems we have are that no matter what ecu is hooked to the car it throws the map sensor code. ok the wires did get pulled from the sensor plug so we put them back in a tried ever possable option. and still the car runs kinda bad. the idle is at 200rpm and its kinda jerky. once the car is over say 20mph it runs great and has alot more power than the sohc. any ideas out there? I hooked a scanntool to read the map sensor but it always stays a 49hg... and never anything diffrent. this is with the car not running. however my honda crv stays at 27hg.. when the car is not running. so im kinda confused. thanks for any help!

i'm pretty sure the Si and the S have different MAP sensors. Try using a known good Si sensor, and it should not throw the code.
