Help on lights

If i purchased fog lights for my car, and already has connectors, can i just plug them in with the connectors i have on my car? If i do, would it just turn on when my parking lights or low beam lights are on? Thanks

Well, the install is a little more complicated (involves removing the bumper), see the FAQ for details on this.

You will need to do something about a switch and relay. The relay is easy enough, you can get any Honda relay out of the junkyard. The switch is going to be a little more of a challenge, Honda no longer sells them. I see you have a '96, that means the spot for the stock switch, and hence the wiring, is in the center console right next to the hazard switch. If you want to do the ghetto thing you can jump two of the wires in that plug and they will always be on with the heads. Other wise you need to come up with a switch solution of some form.

Good luck and try a search, many discussions of fogs have been had (especially as of late).

HTH,

I was looking through ebay and some come with connectors and some dont. I would of course want the one with connectors. Also, behind my bumper, i do have connectors for oem fogs. Would i still need relay and switch for it to work?
I just want them to be on when my headlights are on.

about the search, i tried but couldnt find any of my specific question. Thanks

Try this link (it is in the FAQ BTW): 92-96 OEM Fog Light Istallation

Even though you have connectors (all 4th gens do) you will still need the relay and switch.
