Help just rebuilt my engine

I just finish rebuilding my H23a1 and it fired right up. I timed it and this thing sounded amazing. during the process of pulling my engine out i forgot to unhook the o2 sensor from the acutally intake main support and it ripped all the wiring out. no problem ill just put the back in. so I spent some time on here and I think I found the way it was suppose to go on. so I plug it in and go to fire it up and it just sits there and cranks. so I unplug the o2 and try it again and still it just cranks. even though it was working just fine 20 mintues ago. I check the dash and the CEL light is on when the key is in the on postion. so I grab a paper clip and put it in the service hole. turn the key back on and no flashes. The only flash there is is the SRS flashing.

I checked for spark, none. Fuel is getting there but when I pulled the spark plugs after cranking it for a good 10 seconds, there is barely and smell of gas.

So now im stuck. Did I wire up the O2 sensor wrong and send a singal back to my ECU and fry is or should I be looking for something else?

literly nothing happen after I timed it besides hooking up the o2. so this has me going through a loop.

Thank,
A-Dub

Just got done working on it some more...after scratching my head for a while im still in the same boat.

I do need to correct my self though, the fuel pump never kicks on for the 2 second prime. so I am not even getting fuel. And still no spark. not even from the coil.

it has to be something simple that I havent thought of.

any ideas???

When I have the key on I have power at the dizzy and coil. no spark when I turn it over. I checked all the engine bay fusses, there ok. I dont hear a click when I turn on the car to start so I pulled the main relay out. swaped it with my 92 lude and still no click. with that the fuel pump still wont kick on.

the CEL is still on and wont show me any codes when I use the service pin.

The CEL will always be on with the key in and engine off, that's why you don't get a code

From my knowledge of reading the servie manual thats wrong. the CEL is suppose to turn on for 2 seconds and then turn off. Now if you mean the CEL will stay on if you have the serivce connector jumped then yea your right. but when its not jumped then it shouldnt stay on all the time.

But...

after an hour or so using the volt meter and the helms service manual I found the problem. I was checking if there was voltage at the main relay and i didnt. so i checked teh number 4 fuse under the dash and what do you know the fuse was blow.

This happen becsuse my when i rewired my o2 sensor I wired it wrong and it blew the fuse.

I hope this can some how help someone else
