Help -- JDM H22 Thermostat size

I did my swap a while back and I don't remember what thermostat I used for the engine (I think the themostat is starting to stick). The thermostat from the JDM engine was much bigger then the one I had. I think I tried a usdm h22 thermostat and it was too small. Can anyone tell me what is the size of the thermostat or what other car had the same size thermostat??

Thanks

um, in order for the swap to work that whole peice with the thermostat in it has to be swapped with the USDM one because of a sensor that is missing in the JDM one.

as for the size i'm not sure. sorry.

I didn't swap the housing and it works I just can't remember what size themostat I got. I guess I'll have to pull it and take it to the parts store. Unless someone remembers.... Anyone???

ECT sensor : The JDM engines lack and engine coolant temp. sensor that the US engines have (US have 2, JDM have 1). It is located on the upper radiator hose neck. I just swapped the neck from my F22 (with sensor) onto the JDM engine. The ECT plug on the US harness now has a matching sensor on the engine.

for you guys that didn't replace that part with the ECT sensor... how does your temp guage read accurately?

Hmmm, I guess that makes sense. I never looked at the one in my h23, when I went to different kragens/pep boyz they kept giving me one that was a lot smaller then what was in the H22A. That's when I decided to buy a 64mm and it fit fine, and that's what someone else used...again i posted a while back about it.
