help installing headers ????

damn man. last night 11pm i tried to install my headers for my 1996 prelude. that damn thing wasted all my energy and i didnt even get it half done! my torque wrench literally broke, my sockets (2) broke so i thought it just isnt worth it trying anymore. everything came off besides to bolts on the cat. that thing is stuck on too tight.

anyone got any tips on how to get that off?

throw some rust eater on it and let it dry and try and bust it loose or use an acetiline torch to heat it up.

Hit it with something alot! That actually worked on my buddies Integra. We bashed it until the rust seal broke apart (rubber mallet mind you) and then too the biggest breaker bar I have to a box wrench. No broken sockets, and no using a damn torque wrench to break things loose.

I took my car to my mechanic, he fitted the new header, test pipe and the rest of the new exhaust in an afternoon. I paid him $70 odd and that suited me fine
