Under where the passenger puts their feet. Pull back the carpet then unbolt the cover.

Ok.. installed it. Here's how... in case someone wants to know:

Installing a AutoMeter Air/Fuel Gauge

1) Black red and purple wires come out theback of it.. i'm not even going to go into details about how to run power/ground... should be self explanitory (run the power to the fuse, ground... just find a good solid ground behind a bolt)

2) I put the car up on jack stands.

3) I found it easier to run the wire from inside the engine bay into the driverside through the firewall like that.. more room to use some needle nose plyers top ush the wire through.. if you look directly behind the throttle body.. there is already a hole w/ some wires going out of it.. i just squeezed it through there.

4) Once it is through.. leave plenty of wire on either side of the firewall just in case..

5) Dangle the wire down to the ground.. climb under the car.. and the o2 sensor is directly on top of your Downpipe, to the right of your oil filter about 4 or 5 inches. The white wire coming out (there is white, blue and black) is the one you want to take a razor blade and just lightly cut away the shielding and fold it back so some of the wire is visible.. i cut away about a 1/4 of an inch.

6) Then splice off the end of your other wire.. and wrap it around.. i read prior that its difficult to solder it, so i opted to just wrap it nicely and tape it off really well.

But, i just wrapped the ends around really good.. took the electrical tape and wrapped it nice and snug, and ran my wire loom over the wire up to the firewall for protection. I also took a pull tie and secured it against other wires so it wouldnt wiggle or slide around and possibly hit on the axel or something.

7) now attach your purple wire on the inside of the firewall to the wire coming out of the A/F Gauge.. conceil the wire under the dash.. and let her rip. At first it stays pegged at rich for a few seconds.. then it starts working.

Also, i bought my a/f gauge used, so the wires that came out of my gauge were only a foot or so long.. so if the one that comes from a new one is long enough it would be alittle easier.. less splicing.

i'll take some pics later. (if i want ppl to see my ****ty wiring job.. hehe)

Total Time to complete: about 45 minutes to an hour.
