My friend has a 91 (92) BB1 Si from Japan. Basically BB4 with H22... just JDM and what not.

Anyways it's having this problem where out of nowhere when driving the Check Engine and TCS lights will come on and the cars power will cut in half pretty much. I think it may be missing while this happens too.

If we turn the car off, then turn it on again right away the lights turn off and it drives like normal for a little bit then out of nowhere the Check Engine and TCS will come on again and it will miss / be gutless. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Mine's doing the same thing and it's the knock sensor. Could be a number of things, though.
