HELP!!First Timer!!MOD ON AN AUTO!!!!

Hey there,

So if your here hopefully you can help me out, my first time here and heard great things. I have a 1992 Prelude S F22a1 and am just looking to better my knowledge of the car.

I am trying for a wicked/fuel savvy automatic car that a lot of people haven't seen before. Staying with the automatic looking to make around 240hp in an auto!! I know don't hate on me.

So first and for most my ECU needs a bit of work, its stock right now and don't really have a clue about electronics (I'm thinking buying a new one, don't know what to buy though), but interested in learning. SO any help in tuning an automatic to push 240hp would be awesome. I know I have to increase the rate of fuel deliverance, gear ratio timing, cut the speed limiter out, get rid of the rev limiter to if need be not to sure yet. So hopefully someone can help me out!!!

Thanks everyone!!!!

As well

So I am also thinking of fabricating a custom intake mani as well to go along with this build to make it unique, as well as a custom painted valve cover and possibly a custom fabricated header to compliment it all. If anyone has anything to add, the more help the better!!! Will post pictures of the build soon..

I wouldn't bother, 240hp from such a weak motor with an auto trans leeching away whp is going to be a money pit, all motor 5spd H22a will walk you all day with the same amount of money spent.

Sounds like your very new to all this, do more research and talk to people who have done serious all motor builds, a lot of good ones on Honda-Tech.
