The wire thats plugged in next to where you are pointing I think is the ECT
or engine coolant temperature sensor for the ecu. As best as I can tell from looking at the diagram in the Honda tech manual, the lead that is broke is hooked to a device called a coolant temperature sending unit which I guess sends a signal to the temperature gage in the instrument panel. .
