the radiator isn't always on, only when the temperature reach a certain level, as for the code there's 2 connector under the dash on the driver side, a blue with 2 wires and a white with 3 wires, you need to take a wire or paper clip or something like that and jump the blue connector and turn the key to on, do not start the car just so the dash light turn on and your engine light will start blinking there's long and short blink for the engine like count them and you'll get the code, long is for 10 and short is for 1 so 4 long and 2 short is 42.
