Help Compression Low, Cylinder #4

I was on my way back to home from work, and I hit a red light. After it turned green I started off as usual when all of a sudden the car felt reaally really I mean REALLY sluggish. I could floor it and the RPMs would barely move and it accelerated like sh!t. It hesitated alot and had that stalling out feeling... I wound up driving it to my shop and they did a compression test and Cylinder #4 is at 75... Others are at 155..

There is gas in #4 and the sparkplug is out

What is the problem?? Are my pistons f#cked? Valves? I hope it doesn't cost to much to fix.. Im soOoO in debt right now its not even funny

Please help, any insight is appreciated

Prelude SE, h23a, no mods except for shortram intake.

lol he said hes in debt,i dount he can afford a h22 longblock. If its any of the above like piston, or rods be prepared to take out a loan like me to get a h22. i spent 2,000 tryin to fix my h23 and i had no luck whatsoever. Im fine now with the h22 but i should have done it waaaay earlier. good luck man.

he still asked how much it would cost to fix, and the price to fix it and the price to get the longblock is gonna be very similar.

Interesting pics of stuff in my car...Part 1

This post is split up into 3 parts because of picture rules...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 1

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey guys, I thought I would take some pics of some stuff that is inside my car. Things such as 1993 fog light switch on speaker grill, keyless entry stuff, 6 disc changer, 93 center console....and more.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First, here are some pics of a polished intake that I bought. I guess I took it the wrong way...I thought it was going to look more like a chrome sorta look. I was wrong. Up close, there are scratches and whatnot on the intake...I didn't think there would be scratches. I thought it was going to look more like a mirror sorta thing. Well here are the pics:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next, here are a couple pics of a 1993 fog light switch built into the speaker grill:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is a picture of the two different speaker grills that were made for the 92-96 prelude. I am swapping out the old ones that are in my 93 for the newer looking ones. With this in mind, I am going to have to sell the speaker grill with the fog switch built into it. I am going to buy a newer switch anyway that is built into the center console. Here is that pic:

Interesting pics of stuff in my car...Part 2

Part 2

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is some stuff I was kinda wondering about. My car has keyless entry and when you lock the car with the keyless entry button, a red LED will blink that is behind the steering wheel. I tested it out by arming it while inside the car and then opening the door. It works fine. The horn beeps and the front lights blink. What I did notice is that there is this sensor or something on the back window of my car. I followed the cord and found out that it isn't hooked up to anything. I thought maybe it may have been hooked up to some kind of "glass breaking" system. You can see the pic of the sensor in the last set. Anyone know what exactly this may have gone to? Well anyway, here are the pics of the stuff that I mentioned:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are some pics of a 6 Disc CD Changer that is in my car. The previous owner said that it was broken. I have never tried the changer out. Here are the pics:

I may just buy that tweeter grill from you if I can't figure out how to wire this switch I've got....

Or I may buy it anyway, just for show... Thinking of selling it anytime soon?

Problem Fixed

Hey thanks for the replies guys. I found out the problem and am posting it so other members can use it as a reference.

The problem was the injector and the spark plug was fouled... simple problem. Some shops wanted like a $1k to tear it open and rebuild it saying my pistons were bad and they didn't know what was wrong with it and the only way to fix it or find the problem was to tear it open. But I took it to the place that adjusted my valves hoping it would be a valve problem, and it wasn't, he found out what was wrong with it and he went ahead and fixed it telling me what the problems were. Cost like $60 so not too bad.. AnyHoo I hope this helps out other members who search in tha future.

And BTW, LudeRider276 is my boy and he didn't mean no harm with his post, we clown around alot, my bad I didn't check back with this post and reply sooner.

peace for now.

Kind of curious.... This doesn't make sense to my brain. How does a bad fuel injector give you low compression?
