help with caspers shield!!!

today i tried to install my xenon with the caspers shield but ended up very fustrated. i dont think the caspers shield is designed very well since the metal wire that holds the bulb in place is having a very hard time setting in place, pretty much impossible. i think its also hitting the shield thats currently in the headlight. the one that blocks view of the bulb from in front of the headlight. i tried to remove that shield and i did just to see if i could get this caspers shield in place. i ended up loosing the screw that attachs the shield in my headlight somewhere and i cant seem to find where it went . tomorrow im gonna try to get a extendable magnet thing at autobarn to try and find it. but anyway, im not sure what to do about the two shields touching and i cant even get this damn caspers shield in place because it looks like it wasnt designed so well. i think im gonna have to mess around with that metal wire that holds the bulb in place to get this damn thing to stay. any tips from previous casper shield users on how they got it to stay? did it stay without any trouble for you guys and did it touch your current shield? i dont want to remove my stock headlight shield because then it would cause a lot of glare so im not sure what to do now.

i will be putting in projectors over the summer but in the meantime i wanted xenon till i have the time to perform the retro.

please help!

I used to have them. They don't fit very well in the 4th gen jdm headlight. The shield that covers the front of the bulb is too close. What I did was push it in as far as i could. The 3 notches on the the casper shield should atleast line up with the notches on the headlight they won't seat fully. The way I got the clip to fit over the bulb and casper shield was done while I had the headlights off the car. I slightly bent the piece of metal that the clip hooks on to just enough so that the clip would have hold.
My other solution which I was too lazy to try was to acutally cut a little bit off the tip of the casper shield. That way the casper shield will fit all the way into the headlight and allow you to fit the clip that holds the bulb on correctly. If you do it this way the light out put will probably be better. But you'll have to be carefully not to cut too much or you could get light leakage.
