help with car

ok im leaking radiator fluid, i filled up both the radiator itself and the white plastic container next to it, but my the temp. gauge keeps goin 3/4 of the way towards hot, my heat wont work and when i 1st turn on my car the idle bounces from 1-2k back and forth till then engine warms up alil! can anyone tell me what i should do? thnx

Well, the first place I would check is around the heater core and the rest of the system. Also, just topping off the radiator and the pickup container isn't gonna do the trick. If you have a leak, there's tons of possibililities, not just those two. But yeah, check the heater core, that's probably your problem.

sorry i dunno where the heater core is located, and when i do find it what should i do?

I would do the basics of checking if their is air pockets, and also checking if the thermostat was stuck. Just the basic stuff to start off with...

There are two hoses that connect to the heater. They should both be hot, if only one is, then you need to get it fixed. If the heat isn't working this is most likely your problem. I doubt there's a problem with your thermostat, maybe though. If it wasn't reaching normal operating temperature, then I'd say get a new thermo., but it's not doing that.
