Help with brake lights!

My brake lights dont work night int the day time they do it seem like the night lights and the brake lights are working of the same line or something.

Sorry about that.My brake lights work in the day time but not at night.At night time when i have my lights on i press them the lights dont come on but in the day they do.i o dont understand it its driving me crazy.

that is weird, so like when you flip on your headlights, it turns off your tail lights?

how long has this been happening??
do ANY of the rear lights work or none at all?

This started saturday its driving me crazy.when you press on the brakes the tail lights and the front coner lights light up this is in the day time.Now at night when i put on my lights then the brakes dont work.

Have you checked all your fuses?

It shouldn't be a bulb problem since they light up when your lights are off. Get a fuse tester and test both sides of each fuse. Check all of the fuses in the engine compartment and down by your feet in the cabin.

I didnt use a fuse tester to check the fuses. But I did have a friend test the back where the brake lights are and he said i was
only getting power comeing to 1 line and that they should not be working off of 1 line.

My guess is that u have an earth problem some where trouble is where!

My guess also. Electricity can do some really wierd stuff when it is searching for a good ground.

Have you done any rewiring lately?

No I havent done any rewireing.I talk to honda and they said that i have a short some where.
