Heavy duty headlight harness

i was wondering if any one had been using these with some higher wattage than stock headlights. Do you think the higher wattge bulbs would get too hot and maybe melt the jdm headlights?

I have PIAA Super Plasma GT Lights, and never had a problem with it. I had an upgrade wiring harness from APC, but the problem with those is that JDM H4s only use 2 wires, whereas USDM H4s use 3, so it didn't work, and I didn't feel like rewriring a bunch of crap.

USDM bulb doesnt matter, it is the wiring harness that matters. Go look at an H4 harness from a Civic and compare it to a JDM Lude. The civic harness uses all three wires, while the JDM uses only 2. Those upgrade harnesses have to plug into the existing harness. It is hard to explain, but I do know that the APC one does not work for the JDM. Maybe the one you have will work.
