Im sure somebody makes a heavy duty axle for these cars. I am wondering who and how much should I expect to pay.

+1 for Raxles axels. I own some myself.
I was talking to marty at raxles and he said there is really no "heavy duty," just well made axels since there really is no way to test the load capacity of one.

Gator axels are good stuff too.

I paid 3xx with a core return at raxles

I talked to Gator today, that guy was great, a lot of help and full of info. He was trying to help more than make money and that seems hard to come by these days. He said his axle would be around $240, so I look forward to dealing with them

now Im looking for a good cost effective traction bar. Gator recomended INNS performance.
