I custom wired mine so I don't need the ugly 92-93 tweeter fog switch.

it doesn't have to be in the tweeter, what's stopping someone from installing it in any of the 2 (or 4?) spots just ahead of the arm rest?

damn you all who post these ebay auctions for rare items

I don't really need the switch either. My paperclip shorting out the connections works just fine. It'll be nice to have though

yeah, i know i used to do it before, but I think these posts should either stop or an eBay headsup folder be made. On the other hand, there will come a time when PO will need to clean house, and if there's a lot of space being taken up by useless, dated material (ie ebay auctions 2 years old) they'll either have to throw it out, or charge it's members more to get more HD space to host it. In the long run, I think these posts just take up space, but if a folder were to be made where every thread started is erased 30 days later (or at some increment), then I see no reason why they can't continue, but yes, it still needs to be moved, there's nothing technical about these threads (i should know, I've started a few myself). Any Mods reading this?

Because the 92-93 doesn't have those blank spots.

That switch looks like it would fit in one of the 4 openings on the 92-93 console. It doesn't look like the 94+ switches, though I may be wrong.

I am a mod, and a separate forum is unnecessary. If you don't like the threads, feel free to not click on them. OT is the only resource hog on the site, and we already purge the old threads.

I'm not offended or anything, don't get me wrong, and I made the original statement when the last person did get offended that a lot of people can't spend endless hours on eBay, so something like this helps them especially. I still don't see what's technical about it, but like you said, you're the mod, I'm just the plebian, pay no attention to my petty squabbling.

the jdm switch goes in the console. 94 + usdm switchs are the only ones that fit in the place your talking about. i found that out the hard way.

alright, alright, let's just clear this up: (someone please copy and paste this into your reply, and ONLY do that if you're sure of your answer)

JDM fog switches WILL fit in: (year[s])
and specifically: (where in car)

And you might as well answer this question too:

What's the difference between USDM and JDM foglight switches?

JDM switch will not fit anywhere in a 92. Your only options for a 92 are the ugly tweeter switch, or to custom wire something like I did.

But, in my 93 car, the switch is in one of the spaces behind the e-brake.

The guy I got it from brought it back from Hong Kong for his car but totalled it before it got fitted. He just bought it from a shop out there but has no idea who the manufacturer is, so I honestly couldn't say. It's getting fitted Saturday morning, so I'll have pics by the afternoon
