I've had both on my 4th gen. The first was a 4-2-1 megan header I got for pretty cheap and the difference that I noticed was quicker revs and more low end torque. However, these specific headers were poor quality and I soon had a leak, maybe I bottomed out somewhere. The second header and still on my car is the Hytec replica's which are 4-1's and look kool. I find that it makes the engine rev slower in the low rpm but top end is smoother revving. Perhaps this is due to my car not being tuned, I just have a base map chipped ecu and in search of a hondata s300 but those get sold quick on here. Only real engine mods I have are AEM V2 intake, Unorthodox underdrive pulleys, and my Apexi N1 exhaust. My true feelings on the headers is that they make the engine more responsive cause it lets it breathe easier, that's my personal experience. As far as torque or hp, I don't know cause I've never dyno'd it but don't expect too much, just a smoother running engine.

They also have a 4-2-1

Butt dyno isn't conclusive. Like I said, with this stuff it's all in your head.

If you think you can feel a 5 hp increase, you're lying. Unless you have actual data to back anything up, it's pretty useless.

The only way to really know is get a base dyno run at the same place you get your dyno run after you install everything.

i agree. im kinda sad. i was gonna get the car on a dyno but it nvr happended. mods would have been hytech replica header, test pipe, apexi ws2 (2.5" all through) and stock intake as far as bolt ons go

i would think 4-2-1 because of better flow. thats what honda put from the factory so i would imagine the 4-2-1 in a high performance brand would be your best bet. remember you have an H22 and theyre amazing.. someone had to design it and they werent screwing around. 23 mpg stock should tell you it isnt a regular gas mileage based 4 banger lol
