Header for H23 Q (I know its been asked but I still have Q's after my search)

ok guys
H23, AEM cai and custom 2.5 catback Power1 muffler.
Its apparent to me that the DC header is the way to go with the H23. How much power will it give me? Will it allow the exhaust to produce more power? And how much does the high flow cat affect the power increase? Sorry if these Q's have been answered but I was getting sick of looking through thread after thread, especially with the 56k modem POS. Thanks in advance.

Yes it will make more power but not much, It will help the exhaust make more power becuase of better flow. The high flow cat has a bigger chamber and allows air to flow more freely through the exhuast.

When I put on my DC CC header I noticed slight gains, but not enough to justify the money spent.

the highflow cat wont make a difference unless u have lots of miles (140k plus) on it. the cats are also like $220 so be prepared to spend some cheese. as far as the header goes, i got mine used off the board (thanks nick ) for $200. for the money i spent, i thought it was worth it. it took off 2/10 off my ET and looks great. it was a good buy if u ask me.

later,
tim

prelude.vtec.net has actual sequential dyno graphs of a 94 prelude si with intake, then header, then exhuast, and then some valve train components. with the intake, header, exhaust...he laid down 155.5hp and 155.3ft/lbs of torque to the wheels. thats pretty impressive if you ask me. 155ft/lbs at the wheels is definately a thumbs up. its cool that the h23 with i/h/e has more torque at the wheels than civics/integras/accords have at the crank.
