header bracket revisited

while removing the DC / installing the Greddy header, I found my bracket near the o2 was broken like others in the past, what have most of you guys been doing about it? and how has it been holding up with/without it?

It rattles without and the whole exhaust moves. I'm sure the stress is probably bad on the flex pipe. But i dont know for sure.

Btw, nice sig. You should make your tach be at the other end

My header bracket by the flex pipe cracked a while back, and it took me the longest time to figure out why I heard a bad rattle from 1k-3500 rpms. Changing the oil one day, I realized that this header hanger was cracked, so I took it to Midas, and they spot welded it up, and now, NO PROBLEMS.

I made my own bracket using tempered steel. Those Honda brackets are casted.

mine broke too. dc 421 - said screw it and took the pieces off. Less weight, and I get a sense of accomplishment by taking things off. No rattles or problems, but exhaust has shifted...
