head swap

So the plan is to do the h22a4 head swap on my h23, I have the head already but I have run into some contraversy. Should I wait to put the H22 head on and get it ported and polished, new cams and the works, or should I just get new pistons and slap the sucker on.

Keep in mind that I am planning on doing the S2k tb and the hondata intake gasket. I don't ever plan on seeing the low 14's its a mostly show car but I just thought I would see what the opinions would be out there.

Realistically if you were to get an H22 longblock and put your H23 internals in it it'd be easier. just have to bend the oil squirters some to get clearance..

otherwise theres changing the crank, timing belt etc. to make everything work ..

as far as port n polish .. if both options include the new head.. if you want to might as well wait and do it right ... right?

Didn't we talk about this a while ago? You know what has to be done. I thought you would have had this swap done already. Hit me up if you run into problems.

Lata playa.
