i now have a better job where i am getting $200 to $250 per week. what should i buy? i want an all out drag car and my goal is to be in the 14's by the end of the summer. turbo? I (as you saw in another thread) am getting a header, motor mounts, clutch, flywheel, etc. What else? Any suggestions. And I WILL NOT go the N2O route....
Take your first pay check, buy the previously suggested Helm's manual for $60, and then contact our new tool sponsor about getting a torque wrench, basic socket set (metric), and box wrenches. Preludeonline members get 20% off. Best money you wil ever spend on your car.
It never fails that people are BLOWN AWAY when their Helms manual arrives at their door. If you want to do more invasive work than oil changes and changing fuses, I'd say it's pretty much a necessity.

I COULD NOT AGREE MORE.

or you can know a few people with them. the helms is god though when it comes to working on the car. with the right tools you can do anything to your car.

i have a full set of craftsman sockets, wrenches, screw drivers, torque wrench, etc......what other tools do i need? I AM getting a helms, i have a chilton's right now - parents got it instead of a helms because it was cheaper - and i have come to the conclusion that it is almost useless. After the helms, then what?

Then they obviously are lacking on the driving skills or need a tune-up. Lets not start this arguement. Everyone pretty much knows the times for the stock cars and the S is NOT .3-.4 behind the VTEC.
Alright, alright...15.330@89.62, with a whopping 2.319 60'. I know, pathetic. A certain someone beat me that same day...hmmm, I wonder who that may be?
