Have a couple of bugs, H23A1

Ok so I cracked my head driving on the highway, thought I blew a headgasket but the head showed different after cleaned. Anywho, I got another head and had it refreshed. I also had the shop bake the carbon out of my egr ports while they were at it. I got a new headgasket and new IM gaskets. Now here are my problems after assembling everything..

First of all, while sitting at idle, it seems to idle fine until you turn it off and you can hear the radiator bubbling very loudly. The temp gauge seems to be working fine, it starts out on 0 bars and gradually works its way up to the half mark. It never shows to go past the half mark, yet my radiator is bubbling. I noticed that it sucked everything out of my reservoir, so I'm sure the sound of bubbling is it gasping up air. WHY?
I have flushed it many times to get rid of the oil in the system, and its clear now. I have popped the bleeder valve and bled the system of air. I have changed the thermostat also. When I first started it up I had a few coolant leaks, but after re cutting them and cleaning the oil in the lines they do not leak anymore.

Could this be a bad water pump? A water pump that is just not pushing enough water like it should??

Problem number 2..
When given a little gas at idle, it wants to hang around 2k rpms and slowly leads its way back down to normal idle. I have inspected all the hoses and they are all where they should go, I am ALMOST positive. Not as positive as I would be with the same engine right next to me tho, haha.
This is what I noticed. The EGR Solenoid is just clicking 1000 times a min. I know this is not normal, so any ideas as to why? I know there are 2 hoses that go to the bottom of the solenoid, one goes to the egr and one goes to the IM. The hoses are 2 different sizes, so its kind of hard to screw that up, haha.

Any ideas or close up pictures of all the IM hoses would be greatly appreciated!
