Have anyone modified their window switch for auto UP and DOWN
I think I read a post on Altimas.net where someone modified their window switch for both auto up and down on the driver and passenger side. Has anyone attempted that here on this board? It's a neat mod for the lazy=]
I got my alarm system to roll my windows up when i engage the alarm and i can manually roll down the windows with the remote afterwards... since i got this done... i can touch my window switch down once, windows will roll all the way down unless i tap it again to stop it (almost like how it originally is but i don't have to push it all the way down). Then if i tap the switch up, it will go all the way up unless i tap it to stop it again. This also works for my passanger window when controlling it on the driver side switch (main switch).

Can't be done? Here's instructions from altimas.net forum. lol - even got a video of the feature=] . I haven't taken a look at our switch to see if it is similar.

What was the device called? Was it something like "twindows"? (sp?)

I think you meant the other way around. Just easier to have the passenger side window go auto up and down

I'm still up for autocrossing but I took last year entirely off.
There's an autocross this Sunday at the Meadowlands www.themclub.net
Also check out the link in my signature for dates at the Poconos and Lime Rock.
As for the window thing....I'm glad to hear that someone used it. I've always wanted to get this but wanted to hear of someone else using it first. Good luck Jake and let us know how it goes.
