all h22's look the same, theres no way to tell without looking at the pistons (which would not be a visual inpection). the only thing is the smog equipment, if thats not on there thats a dead giveaway.
who ever told you a jdm h22 will not pass a visual is full of **** or doesn't know ANYTHING about preludes. jap spec cars burn and run cleaner than usdm cars because of the more strict emissions laws.
