The hard part is actually removing the tranny. It's ALOT easier with the engine out of the car....but you can drop the tranny with the motor still in the car too. Just have a few extra hands handy.

Other than that, make sure everything is torque down to spec and in the proper sequence before you put everything back together. And I would advise against lightening the flywheel yourself, unless you've done this kind of mod before.

It takes me only ~30 mins to do a clutch install, with the motor OUT of the car. But takes 2-3 hours with the motor IN. 75% of that time is spent getting the tranny out of the way.

If you can afford the down time, go ahead and do it, it helps ALOT to have extra hands. Once the tranny is out, it's cake to swap the clutch and flywheel. Make sure you have a clutch alignment tool (usually comes with most clutch kits, but not with mine--Centerforce II), and don't use a broom stick.

I swapped my clutch when my motor was in the car and out. I'd have to agree that the hard part is getting the tranny in and out of the car. about the broomstick thing, I used the butt end of a phillips screwdriver.

what i can add on top of all this is DON't over-tighten the pressure plate bolts. only take about 20 or so ft/lbs

good luck
