harness bar - Honda Prelude Forum

hey again i was just wondering what the length between the b pillars are on a bb4 prelude i want to get a harness bar but i dont know what size to get and i dont want to get universal because i dont want to go through modifications just to get it to stay in my car

Well if you aren't getting a universal then wouldn't you be getting a specific application for the prelude?

I remember there were like maybe 2 manufactuers and they don't make them anymore.

If anything, why not just bring the prelude to a roll cage shop and have them make you one. I mean if you are going to go through the trouble of installing one, might as well get a custom one in.

I have the sparco harness bar for my 98 prelude and the design of it kind of makes it universal from the box. The mounting points for the two bolts are bent upwards and at an angle, so it can potentially have like an inch to inch and a half play to fit. The chasis between the 4th gen and 5th gen are not that different at all, so I'm almost 100% sure if you get the sparco or nrg bar for the prelude, it's going to fit.
