H4 bulbs using Low & High filament at the same time..??..

has anyone had any problems running this setup?? I know the standard use of the H4 is the low & high filaments alternating (like Civics). Considering that the USDM 4thgens aren't setup like this.... will I come across any problems as far as the bulb exploding or burning out if I use the low & high at the same time in the same bulb???

Note: The stock USDM High location will be wired with a fog light kit and will only be used as an auxiliary light source. But the wiring for the USDM High will be used on the H4 along with the Low.

So far so good with the low & high filament used at the same time? so if I decided to put in a relay so I can use the h4 the correct way... how would that setup be (where low & high in H4 will alternate when I hit the highs)??
If I decide to use the H4 with both high's and low's at the same time..... will this setup melt a heavy duty h4 harness?

thanks for all your help.

My headlight convertion has been setup this way for three years, without a problem. I used nothing more than the stock wiring to wire the h4's and a pre-wired fog light kit for the h1's.

So are you running the setup where both the High & Low filament are on at the same time .... or
are you running where the High & Low alternating filament (lows are on but when you hit the highs, the lows turn off & the high turn on) so only one filament is on??

Ceasar

bad-ass lude by the way.

Both filaments will light-up during the high beam position.

Thank you both for the compliments. All the work and time put into her as certainly paid off, but the time for a new car is quickly approaching.
