H23VTEC Issues

I just got finished with my H23VTEC build. The motor's fully built from top to bottom for the turbo sytem that will be coming in the spring. Enough time for me to get everything broken in properly and purchase my new car so that it's no my DD anymore.

Here's the issue. I have no VTEC. It was throwing a CEL 21 & 23 which is VTEC solenoid and pressure switch. It fluctuates between the 2. Sometimes it's both of them and soemtimes it's one of them. The last few times it's been the pressure swtich.

My questions is should i just go ahead and replace them or are there somethings I should be looking at. I'll be working on it next weekend but i dont' want to keep driving it like this for too long. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

Did you remember to take the oil control plug out of the H23 block when you put it together?

you either don't have the wiring correct, don't have the plug out (I'd put money on this), or not enough oil.
