h23's converter vs h22's

hi guys..is there a diffrence between a h23's conveter and h22's converter..

ahhh... ok i seriously didnt know. he's new, so i didnt know if he was talking about a tq converter in the tranny. i think the difference is in the bolts. if i remeber, the h23's have nuts welded on the exuast side of the cat, and free bolts on header side, and the h22 has bolts welded on the header side, but not cat... i think it was something simple like that

for the cat the bolts wont line up so you can make them fit though or you could get a high flow cat if you do a h23 to h22 swap.

im running my h23 cat still. just cut the flangs off and swapped em around.

yes..i'm talking about the catalyic conveter.. i'm doing h23 to h22 swap.. do you guys if a DC sports header would fit into a apex dunk115 exhast..because i bought the apex exhaust for my si h23. and i ordered a Dc sport header..i'm not sure if the header would fit the apex exhaust..

The OEM bolt patterns on the h22 header and the h23 cat are different. You will have to cut or weld the flanges around to make it work.

When I did my swap, I bought an aftermarket VTEC cat, and a catback system made for a VTEC car and used a VTEC downpipe. Basically swapping over my entire exhaust system to VTEC specs as well as the motor.
