h23ai and h22a motors

Hi currently i have a h23ai motor in my 95 prelude and im looking to change it to a new one. Is it possible to get a h22a motor without changing anything (complete drop) or will only the h23ai motor fit ? any help will be appreciated thanks!

To install a h22a you will need to do only one "addition" to the car.

Wiring up Vtec selonoid to ECU which is like 2 pins essentially.

Everything else is an exact drop in.

1. No h23a1 have vtec
2. All h22a's have vtec
3. This is one of the most common swaps, I have personally done it myself.

From your posts, it would appear you need to pay someone to do this or read A LOT more. Vtec is essentially internal to the engine only (with the addition of the ecu change).
