H23A1 m/t swap with a/t engine
I ordered used engine and it when I arrived I found it had a flex plate.
So, the ECM on my car will have to be changed for one for a/t, I assume.
Is that true?
What to do? send it back?

There is no such thing as a auto or manual engine, just remove the flex plate and bolt the flywheel and clutch to it, simple.

My question was poorly worded.
Won't the ECM be different ?
