Ok Guys, I was going to get the h23a Vtec (from the 99+ Accord SiR Wagon), and slap a h22a Tranny, ECU and Distributor on it, but then I was told the ECU would NOT work properly with the h23a Vtec, I'm really confused at this point, I assumed that the h22 ecu would work but if not I don't want to risk it. I need some feedback and advice or technical info of you guys have any.
i wonder why it wouldnt... GSR, sohc civic, prelude, and accord vtec ecus are all interchangable... some might not be as good as others.. but they will work

You might run into some problems considering the engine is OBD-II. I know that some of the sensors are in different places so you might have some fun with the wiring harness. The ECU should work fine if you have all the sensors hooked up right. You might want to work on the fuel maps though. That extra 0.1 liters will require some more fuel. Maybe a V-AFC and some dyno tuning?
If you use a p13 ecu and an H22a engine harness everything will work fine. Just hook up the right stuff. Use an OBDI distributor and away you go. All DOHC VTEC ecus work the same way...
Let me put it to you like this, no one else has this engine on here that could give you a definitive answer. We can give you our best guess but if you have problems, you'll have to deal with them, and tell us about it.
You should do a search on some of these posts, I was wondering the same thing .. Satan_SRV I think has a hybrid H23 .. but he blew it at 10k ... he was putting down some pretty nice numbers.
just search for my name and look for h23a vtec questions or something, im too lazy to post the URL of the thread but I have a lot of concern in the same area as you
I found this as well, torque is apparently 21.0 kgm @ 5300 I guess ... when the vtec kicks in .. unfortunately i think this link might be for gran turismo .. grr.
