H23A VTEC?

Hey, i was looking on the JDM swap website and i came across a H23A VTEC from 99-00 accord. Will this bolt into a 4g prelude? Is it worth it over the h22a? Also they have the h22a and h23a both listed as 200hp. It was my understanding that they were 220hp? anyone know?

no JDM engine has a number after it. so no there isn't a different engine code for the type-s.

the h23 vtec from the accord has more hp and more tq than a jdm h22. I say go for it. The problem is you would need a manuel tranny and hondata to get it to run right

Also, the H23A vtec is ODB2 so you'd need to make the needed changes to get it to run right.

A thread on honda-tech showed an H23Vtec without tuning put down 190 to the wheels, 163 tq with I/H/E ...

Im so jealous
