H23 Valves

hey guyz, my gf has a 95 si and the timing belt just went on it and it turns out she has 16 bent valves, so I am rebuilding the head and i was trying to find aftermarket valves instead of just puttin the stock honda ones back in but i cant seem to find anyone who makes them. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to get some and which ones are good ? thanks !

valves are valves, i don't think you can improve performance thru valves. I mean aggressive valve timing but that's not because you put aftermarket valves in.
Just use the oem valves
actually, i need some myself and wondering where i can get them.
If you can find the oem valves then give me the link or however you have done it plz

**** i have 16 bent ones also

i looked and looked. the only non oem honda ones i could find were from inline4, they were no names and cheaper then stock, but they weren't in stock.

i settled on new OEM ones from the stealership 440$ OUCH. hondaautomotiveparts.com has them for cheaper i believe

oh and if you need any info on rebuilding that head, i am your man

when i built my h23 head, i used stainless steel swirl polished exhaust valves made from a company called SI. i bought them from www.raceeng.com. For the intake side i just bought new honda oem ones.

why are you comparing pistons to valves?? Two totally diff. things man... of course pistons are diff. than others, depending on their bore, shape, etc, yielding different compression and so on, but valves are.... well, pretty much valves. You can't really tweak valves or anything, yaknawmsayin?

well you could make them out of stronger materials etc........ so i think some valves can be better then others.

Im planning on selling my car at the end of the summer, and trying to hold off changing the timing belt before I sell it. If it happens to go before I sell it, then Im just gonna get an H22 long block from Hmotors for $1200. Getting a VTEC longblock is almost cheaper (and easier) than rebuiling the head. Also you will have a VTEC engine most importantly

--- $.02
