H23 valve train issue

I am using Ferrea SS valves and JG springson my H23. My issues are:
Do I have to change out the valve guides for this valves? what if I don't?
Also can I reuse my stock retainers on this? Want to do this for longevity.
What is the stock valve guides made of?

Thanks for all the help.

Because I dont feel like changing them ever 30k and too much funds for little gain.
Why go with those guides? What make them different than stock (other than material)?

dont mind spending money. Just want to make sure I spend it on the right items for the right reasons. Also needing a 88mm Head Gasket for the H23 cant seem to track one down.

From my understanding you can use a h22 head gasket just fine on a h23
