h23 valve adjustment ? - Honda Prelude Forum

I've read plenty of how-to's on valve adjustments and everything seems straight forward to me... but one question i have is when putting everything back together, is Honda-Bond needed in addition to the gasket? or do you just replace the valve cover gasket and call it a day?

any other little things i oughtta know?

Supposed to use Honda Bond. I don't, I don't have any leaks from my valve cover.

Valve adjustment is easy. Might want to check the clearance after you tighten each valve back up again, to make sure it didn't go out of spec when you were tightening.

Where exactly are you supposed to use honda bond? put a layer around the entire rim and then put the gasket down over it?

That should be fine. I have never used any gasket seal on when I put back on the valve cover and I have no leaks either.
