h23 tranny questions...

no, i'm not swapping this motor into my 5th gen, but my friend is getting one swapped into his accord and wants to know a few things about the tranny...

1. what are the rpms at when at 80mph? 90mph? 100mph?
2. what is the top speed?

The ratios aren't much better (cruising wise at least) than the H22. At 80mph you're usually at 4000rpm. The top speed is 130mph.

The tire size/profile will also play a roll in the gearing for your friend. (ie. H23 stock tire is 205-55 & 4-cylinder accord is 195-60) Your friend can adjust rpm-to-speed by playing with the tire profile that he has on the car. Which accord is your friend swapping the tranny in?

80mph = 4000rpm in 5th

If I drive on the freeway today I will note what it is @ 90 & 100.
