H23 tranny with F23 5th gear

so i was looking around in some other website n i found out. that h23 with a f23 fifth gear cruise a lower rpm at highway speeds idk
i wanted to know what is the "shifting would b weird" idk what they ment
any specs would b nice 2.

1. Shifting would still be the same if the gear fits properly.

2. The amount of labor probably isn't worth it if you want to save gas. I mean if you really did, go trade in your car for a corolla or civic, etc.

yeah i know, but if i ever did this it wouldn't b cuz of gas, i would do it for a higher topspeed. but im just sayin'

i have a p2a8 put of an 02 accord i think it is, and i think its an f series trans. the gears are long as sh*t, on the parkway in 5th 70mph=about 2500 rpms

Yeah okay, just fyi you need a lot more power to get higher than the quoted 150ish mph.

FYI im not stupid, i know u would need much more power, i just wanted gear ratios to check the dif but dont matter, im not planning on doing anything like that on my Lude. Thanks for the help tho
