H23 timing belt broke?? Need help!

Hey, the other day i was driving down the road and my car just quit. I didn't know what it was and i tried to roll start it and nothing.. Then i pulled off and tried starting it and it definatly sounded different so i suppose the belt broke. Then i talked to someone who said if you try to start it when it breaks then you will bend the valve so now i am at this..
Is it cheaper to get another head?
Cheaper to redo my head?
Do a JDM swap for it?
Or sell my car altogether? I am 17 and am on a low McDonalds budget...
My car is a 93 Si H23 5spd... It currently has 268,000 and i have been known to give it just a little heck lol. It's also bone stock..

I need help with this and any advice will help me. Thanks

Depends on what is damaged here. If your timing belt snapped, there is a good chance that your valves are bent, and possibly the head is destroied.

Your options are pretty simple, but first thing you should do is check to see what the damage is and go from there, for all you know, all you need is a new 50 dollar timing belt.

Pull the valve cover off and see if the timing belt is actually broken

valves always bend when timing belt snaps, get your head machined port n polish it and youll be good
