h23 spark plug wire question

This is going to sound retarded, but i swapped an h23 into my Prelude S. Everything went without a hitch for the most part, but my friend removed my spark plug wires from my cap when i replaced the distributor, and we dont know what order they are supposed to go in now. I dont know which cylinder is #1

when opening the hood, what is the cylinder order? 4-3-2-1 or 1-2-3-4? ive got a manual that shows the order, but just to be safe, could somebody look at their h23 distributor and tell me what order it goes in?

sorry for such a stupid question but im pretty sire it'll start once i get this right and i miss my car!

yeah it's 4 3 2 1... the wires should be the right lengths so you can kinda figure out where they go.

Think of it this way - do you know where your crank pulley, alternator, a/c or cam gears are located? If you're looking at your engine- they are on the right side and the cylinder closest to them is #1.
