H23 problems

I took the head of my h23 to get a valve job, vatted, etc. but when i put it back on and put it back in time and everything it's not starting so i think it's a timing related issue but i could be wrong.
anyone ever ran into anything like this?
any suggestions or anything would be massively appreciated.

I don't see how a valve job would prevent you from starting. You might want to check all your ignition stuff if anything isn't attached.

i doubt the valve job was the problem.
i was saying that now that it's together and it won't start again so i was seeing if there was anything i over looked.
there is this plug on the right side of the engine close to the intake i can't find a match too. i'll put up a pic later.

If you lined everything up properly with the cams and crank. Then its an ignition problem. check to make sure your distributer is in the right position or it could be that plug.
